I am very strongly influenced by music in my paintings. Music has always been something that will take me far off places, places of energy, places of peace, it clears my mind and helps me to focus. This painting was an intuitive painting one glorious weekend that I was just allowing myself to paint feels, without over thinking them, just soaking in the music and the beautiful bougainvillea that was blooming in my backyard........Some of the pieces I love the most come from this peaceful place.
